Cusco, a region with the most beautiful views of the world, surrounded by six mountains more than 3,400 meters high, is the oldest city in the western hemisphere and the cradle of the Inca civilization. Everywhere in the world it is known for the amazing archaeological ruins at Machu Picchu. Cusco is located in southern part of Peru. Its decoration is mostly colonial, with carved balconies that ornament its outside. It has court yards and patios, surrounded by colonial type arcades. It's located in a quiet neighborhood, very close to the Main Square.
