The service at the front desk was very good and the initial thoughts were that we were in for a nice stay. The room (suite) left a lot to be desired, the suite was actually connecting rooms however it only had one bathroom. The overall size of the suite was very small as we were constantly tripping over each other. The wood furniture was thick with dust, there were gaps between the walls and ceiling, and when we opened the sofa/bed there was a clump of something that looked like a turd. The pool was nice and kept clean, however for a hotel of this size I would have expected a hottub or sauna, also the fitness center was a room (closet) with four pieces of equipment crammed into it. I was not very pleased with the room or amenities, but the service and conference room areas were nice.

I stayed four nights, and could not sleep at all the first night due to being in a smoking room, when I wanted a non-smoking room. The desk clerk said the reservation requested smoking, but I couldn't find that on my confirmation email. The pool closed too early for me to use. Many hotels allow later hours for adults only. The continental breakfast was meager, little selection, and gone way before the time was up for it to be gone. The ice machines are really far from the rooms. My key card wouldn't work about half of the time. We had to wait for our conference shuttle busses for quite a while (20 to 45 minutes) and there was no chairs or benches to sit on.
