Numerous reviewers praised the hotel's location, finding it to be close to downtown, Pike's Market, restaurants, shopping, Pioneer Square, the waterfront and Seattle Art Museum. One guest noted, "This hotel is in a great downtown location, walking distance from many of Seattle's sites and shops, and good bars and restaurants within strolling distance".
The hotel's accommodations were complimented by many guests. They described their rooms as clean, spacious, quiet and well equipped, with fantastic views of the city and Elliott Bay, comfortable beds and linens and large bathrooms.
