The Good
Many guests were pleased with the location of this property. Most found its proximity to the airport as well as the highway and Virginia Beach very convenient.
Guests who used the meeting facilities, either as facilitators or guests, were pleased with the set-up, as well as the service the staff provided.
Most guests were happy with the staff. They found them friendly and attentive, from the van driver to the front desk staff to the workers in the on-site restaurant.
Aside from the bathrooms, most guests found their accommodations to be comfortable, if in need of an update in some cases. However, there were some complaints (see below for more details).
The Bad
Many guests said this hotel felt dated in both the guest rooms and common areas. At the time of this review, many guests mentioned that the hotel is currently being updated, and this caused some issues, most notably in the hallways.
A few guests complained that they could hear things outside their rooms such as people in the neighboring rooms or hallway traffic.
A few guests had issues with in-room amenities. Some reported that their coffeemakers didn't work, others had issues with leaky faucets in the bathroom. One guests found the bathroom in their room to be cramped.
Some guests complained about a lack of in-room amenities, such as microwaves and mini fridges.
A few guests had safety concerns. One reviewer clarified by expressing concern at the lack of a security guard late at night.
