"When I arrived, the toilet was dirty (urine on the toilet bowl rim and toilet paper in it). The air conditioning did not work well."

"Arrived ~9:30 pm, tired, wanted bed fast. From reception, I was sent out to room, card keys did not work, i.e. the door did not open. Went back to office, changed room. Sent out to another room. Card keys did not work; door did not open. Back to reception third time. Staffer at desk tried to send me out with reprogrammed card keys, saying "These SHOULD work." Only reluctantly did he agree to accompany me with a master key. Reprogrammed keys did not work; he let us in with master, brought others later. It took 45 minutes to do all this. Not the kind of "service" I looked forward to at the end of a long day on the road. And after that kind of start, it does't make much difference to me how the rest (amenities, etc.) is.
I knew that the following morning we had to leave early. I was not permitted to pay the bill the night before, so we could just leave directly in the morning. I was told I had to go back to the reception in the morning to pay out. This was annoying as well.
I asked for a wake-up call at 5:15 am. It never came."

"We only stayed one night, but we did get a 6AM courtesy wake up call. The only problem was that we had stayed out very late the night before and did NOT ask for a wake up call. Someone made a big goof. I had trouble getting back to sleep and had to get back on the road sleep deprived. Also, housekeeping was standing outside the door trying to get in to clean the room at 10:15. One housekeeper even knocked on the door of the people staying with us in the room next door. Check-out wasn't until 11:00, so we felt as if they were rushing us out the door. The building itself was nice, and the rooms were very neat and clean, complete with fridge, microwave, coffee maker, and hairdryer. As for some of the staff, well, if you can't say something nice..."
