"This was my 3rd stay at the Red Lion Inn. After making my reservation on-line, I called them the day I was to arrive to confirm and the young lady at the desk couldn't seem to find my reservation. I told her I was getting ready to leave Houston and didn't want to come there without knowing that my reservation was intact. She then told me to hold while she checked...after holding for 3-4 minutes, she came back only to say, "Hello, may I help you?" This didn't fair well with me so I told her to get someone who could help me. She then seemed to find my reservation. At check out, we also discovered that they had charged, not only my debit card, but my husband's credit card and then didn't seem to think that they had made an error. I enjoy the Red Lion...their breakfast buffet is wonderful, as are their servers, but the people at the service desk seem to need more training in customer service."

"This was my second stay at Red Lion (also during Thanksgiving)as my daughter & son-in-law were moving from Austin to Los Angeles. I stayed at the hotel and also included my daughter on packing night and we were very comfortable. I treated both my daughter and son-in-law to the breakfast buffet Sunday morning and it was a welcome and inviting last visit with them before their departure. My husband & I have decided we will come and visit for our 36 wedding anniversary in May since our visits have been so positive! Thank you Red Lion!"

"We happened to have stayed during the A&M-TX Longhorn game and as we were checking out the traffic was very backed up. We needed to meet our daughter at her place of work and the lady at check-out gave us a very wonderful way of driving (over 360) to meet her. It was a beautiful and easy drive and we very much appreciated her friendliness and helpfulness. We had a great special at the hotel but felt like we stayed in the most expensive room! Thank you for a wonderful stay at your hotel. And yes, we will definitely recommend you to our friends!"
