"The hotel was old you could tell. Our room's air conditioner was not working, but the hotel got us another room with a working air conditioner. The lady who was working was alone, there were many phone calls and customers waiting for assistance. She was friendly but needed help. All of the ice machines on all three floors were not working. The coke machines were also broken exept on the third floor. The indoor pool was the best part. My son Zackary loved it. Crackle Barrel was next door and was a good place to eat. My mother and I gave it "1" star not "3"."

"This is not a 3 star motel. Two, maybe, and trying to climb. Supposedly, I read from other reviewers, they are in the process of remodeling. Our room was clean (if old) and though we didn't use it, the indoor pool looked nice and had recently been reopened. A friendly desk attendant helped us with restaurant suggestions but the service staff seemed short handed and a bit careless having left bits of paper trash in the elevator. Would I return? I'm not sure ...only with a substantially discounted rate. I AM sure that it does not rate three Stars or Diamonds."
