The hotel's location was praised by many lodgers, who found it close to the beach, restaurants, shopping, highway access and Grand Strand Shopping Center. One guest remarked, "The location was fantastic because it wasn't right in the middle of everything but it is close enough to all the great things Myrtle beach has to offer".
Numerous reviewers were pleased with the level of customer service they received from the front desk while at the hotel. They characterized the staff as friendly, accommodating, helpful with recommendations and efficient at check-in.
Several guests complimented their accommodations at the hotel. They described their rooms as newly renovated, clean, beautiful, modern, spacious, quiet and well equipped, with comfortable beds and amazing ocean views. Some patrons had complaints about their rooms, however (see below).
The Bad
While the majority of reviews consulted for this analysis were positive, there were some complaints about the rooms and noise transfer.
Although several lodgers were pleased with their well-equipped and modern rooms, some guests were disappointed with their accommodations. Most notably, patrons complained about the lack of daily housekeeping at the hotel. They described not having their rooms cleaned until very late in the day or going several days without having their rooms cleaned, and having to ask the staff for clean towels and to clean their rooms. Other complaints about the rooms included hard beds and dated decor.
A few reviewers complained of noise transfer during their stay. They reported noise from loud guests in the hallways as well as music from the hotel's bar.
