The hotel's location was praised by numerous guests, who found it to be close to the beach, a grocery store, shopping, restaurants, entertainment, Myrtle Waves Water Park and Broadway at the Beach. One reviewer stated, "The location could not be better, right on the beach, right at the pier, right at the sky wheel, which you have a great view of from the rooms".
Many lodgers enjoyed the hotel's accommodations. They described their rooms as clean, well equipped, well maintained and beautiful, with incredible ocean views and comfortable beds. It should be noted, however, that a few guests were disappointed with their lodgings (see below).
The hotel's staff were the source of several compliments by reviewers, who characterized them as friendly, accommodating and efficient. One patron noted, "The staff was very friendly and helped us find fun things to do, they gave us lots of coupons and advice on where to go".
The Bad

Although the majority of lodgers were pleased with their clean and well-equipped rooms, a few guests had complaints. They reported dated decor and furniture, small-sized rooms, no in-room Wi-Fi (only wired) and noise transfer from guests in adjacent rooms and from the street.
The hotel's parking was a source of complaints for a few reviewers. They reported it being across the street, which they found to be inconvenient at times.
A few guests complained of long waits for the elevators, and reported there were only two for the entire hotel.
