"The room was clean, but small and crowded. You could hardly turn around in the bathroom. I purposely picked this hotel for the suite because we were traveling with two kids and we wanted them to sleep separately from us. But the pull-out couch in the living room only fit one child, so the other had to squeeze in the bed with us. The pull-out bed also broke. There was mildew on the walls, and there were not enough pillows. For the price (we paid $169 per night in peak season), we got what we paid for. The oceanview was nice, and the pool was fun. The only reasons I would recommend the hotel are its proximity to Family Kingdom Amusement Park and the incredibly friendly staff. The desk clerks were kind, and helpful. The woman who cleaned the room to great pains to make it look so nice, even fishing my child's doll out of the covers and arranging her sweetly on a pillow. The staff is this hotel's saving grace."

"When we arrived, we received a "side view" oceanfront room, only to discover that we had the side view, but no oceanfront to see! The patio from the hotel room had rust covered on one side from an air conditioner leak, the door to the patio was in horrible condition and then when we cut on the water from the sink, up comes black waste in the sink! We brought this to the attention of the hotel mangement and they very quickly placed us in a two-bedroom suite at no extra charge. In addition, they placed us in another two-bedroom suite the second night at no extra charge! Finally we were placed in a regular oceanfront efficiency room on our last day and other than the commode being stopped up, this was a nice room. Hotel management deserves a "thumbs up" especially the one who assisted us with our problems etc. I believe his name was Charles? (the black gentlemen). The pool was okay and my children enjoyed breakfast. I will never stay at this hotel again, nor recommend it to any one else! The flooors in each of the rooms, except for the oceanfront front room on our last night, was either dirty and stained or not well vaccumed. If this is a three-star hotel, heaven forbid if we had chose to stay at a two-star!"

"The walls had wholes in it. My wife was scared to use the bathrooms because for one they were so small and two they just look like they were not clean, wherther it been because not enough lighting or the darkness of the floor. the bed, tv, balcony, everything else was great. the microwave when use seem like it was about to blowup htough."
