"First, the seasonal price ($139) was quite high for what we got. Our first night and following morning, we had no hot water. I overheard the front desk telling another customer that someone was "working on it" and should be fixed in an hour. It wasn't. Our "NO-SMOKING" room smelled like cigarette smoke. At check-out, the front desk told us the manager would be sending "compensation" to those affected by the hot water crisis (a free night?)...so I'm waiting to see what comes. The continental breakfast was below average. The only things we liked were the location and proximity to downtown and we were walking distance to a good restaurant - California Dreaming. This Hampton is NOT worth $139 per night."
