The hotel's location was praised by many lodgers. They described it as easy to find, and close to the airport, shopping, restaurants, downtown Pittsburgh, Pittsburgh Zoo, highway access and a grocery store.
Numerous reviewers were pleased with the level of customer service they received, and characterized the staff as helpful, friendly and accommodating. One patron remarked, "The front folks were great! We asked about local places to eat and they informed us that due to the high traffic volume, they recommended that we 'allow' them to drive us in their nice shuttle van to the restaurant of our choice".
Several guests enjoyed the hotel's accommodations. They described their rooms as clean, spacious, quiet, well equipped and well maintained, with comfortable beds. A few lodgers had complaints about their rooms, however (see below).
The hotel's breakfast was complimented by several patrons, who described it as great and well stocked, with lots of hot and cold choices and helpful staff.
