"Excellent value. This is our third stay there and we truly enjoy it. Well maintained!!! Very convenient to Broadway Theatre district."

"The hotel is very nice. As we walked toward Time Square we passed the Ritz just a half of bock or so from our hotel, so that should tell you something. The Belvedere doorman (yes, you get a doorman) took our picture for us. The rooms were clean. You get a small kitchenette, closet with safe, and two comfortable beds and of course the usual TV and cable. The bathroom was small, but clean. We requested restaurant menus to order in and they brought us up several. We were on the 12th floor and did not have to wait very long for elevators. I was surprised that we could still hear the traffic below, but it wasn't bad and never woke us. I would recommend you get one of these higher floors (17 is the highest), not just to avoid noise, but because the elevators are small and they head to the upper floors first. The middle floor guests would not fit in our elevators at times and would have to wait for another. It is just a few blocks to Time Square. This is where you purchase tickts to all Broadway shows (shows are also within blocks of the Belvedere!). Tickets purchased the same day are about half off. Note the ticket stand doesn't open until 3p.m. This is also the place to purchase Grayline tour bus tickets. (We got the all loops tour $49 each - good for 48 hrs. These tours added much to our sightseeing and saved our feet. We couldn't have seen as much as we did without this tour.) We only used the subway once to take a trip to Coney Island (the Cyclone rollercoaster is great! Worth the $5 ticket. I recommend you hold your hands around the back of your neck to support your head. The Farris wheel was just so-so). Looking back we would have used the subway to get from Ground Zero back to Time Square to avoid taking the same loops bus tour again and losing an hour of our day. This is something to consider when getting on and off the loops for transportation rather than sight seeing. We were very pleased with the Belvedere, especially the location. When we left we asked the doorman for a taxi and had one in less than 2 seconds."

"An excellent Location Location Location. But brace yourself for a hard hard hard bed. Still, the cost and the location make up for the bed."

"While the front desk staff who checked me in seemed a bit snobbish, everyone else treated us well. There was the occasional extended wait for an elevator (we were on the 16th [of 17] floor). Good midtown location - a few blocks from Times Square."

"For people not used to the climate in NYC, our room was too warm and we were told to open the windows which because of my allergies was terrible and I continued to become sicker and then finally the hotel put in a window AC. This was greatly appreciated and the remainder of the stay at your hotel was great. Thank you so much, Lynda C. Moore"

"I would stay here again, especially if I plan to attend the theater. It was quiet and convenience, and everyone was very nice and attentive."
