Numerous reviewers praised the hotel's location, describing it as close to Wall Street, the financial district, public transit, restaurants, shopping, Battery Park, Times Square and Pace University. It should be noted, however, that a few guests had complaints about the location (see below).
Many guests were pleased with the hotel's value, describing the rates as exceptional, reasonable and budget friendly. One lodger remarked, "Best hotel in NYC for the price", while another found the hotel to be "a good value for the exceptional location".
The hotel's staff were the source of several compliments by lodgers, who found them to be receptive, helpful, professional and accommodating. One guest stated, "What makes it even better is the hotel staff!! No matter how early or how late, the staff was extremely knowledgable, friendly, and helpful. The hotel's location was praised by the majority of lodgers, but a few guests were disappointed. They found it to be a little too far from attractions, and difficult to find due to the construction in the area and the lack of signage on the front of the building.
