"I had booked my room about 3 weeks before arriving and was confirmed at a base rate of $79.00 for the night. The front desk clerk tried to charge me $84.00. I have to show him the 'fine print on my confirmation and insist that the quoted rate be honored. He grudgingly adjusted my rate. After this instance, he was not discourteous, but was aloof in all further conversations. In his defense, it was a busy period, with several other checkins. On getting to our assigned Room 325, we found the room to be generaly clean and tidy, but were not happy to find that the bed linens had not been changed from the prior night's stay. I realize that your hotel is askig for help in water conservation by re-using sheets during our stay, but I don't expect to sleep on someone else's unwashed sheets upon arriving."
