The hotel's location was praised by numerous reviewers, who described it as relaxing and easily accessible, as well as close to highway access, restaurants, shopping, theatres and the marina. One patron noted, "Best part is great location. Feel like you're in the woods, but very easy access to theaters and restaurants".
Many guests were pleased with their accommodations at the hotel. They found their units to be clean, spacious, well equipped, quiet, beautifully decorated and well maintained, with comfortable beds. A few lodgers had complaints about their rooms, however (see below).
