"I would recommend this Hotel. However, when we stayed the boilers were out and we had no hot water for two days. They only took $50 off our stay. The manager's reception was crowded and the service was a little slow. The free breakfast in the morning was nice as usual, but the wait was 30 mintues or more in line both mornings and no where to sit so had to take our food back to our room each time. The elevators where quite slow with a 5 to 10 minute wait each time we went to use it. There was a party next door to us with several very loud and rowdy kids. Security did try and keep it under control. The shuttle driver to the Mall of America was unfriendly as well. Maybe this is because I'm use to a small community and the friendliness that comes with that. As far as the Hotel, it was a typical Embassy, clean and spacious as far as the rooms go."

"Enjoyed my stay and would stay there agin next time. The only downside is the free breakfast. Very poor. Ice cold muffins, a toaster that does not toast, etc. But it is free, so how much can you compalin?
PS: We had breakfast one morning at the Uptown Diner - Excellent but $30 for two people. You get what you pay for."
