"It wasn't a great hotel by any means, but it was very cheap and basically, you get what you pay for. It wasn't offensively bad or anything, and the free shuttle to the French Quarter was really nice. It was in a bad part of town, so you really needed to either take a cab into the quarter or use the shuttle, but the hotel itself seemed safe enough. It was a great place for cheap college students and other people looking to pinch pennies, but if you want a hotel that you don't mind spending some significant time in, this isn't your place."

"The positive first - the staff was excellent with helping us to get to the Canal Street for touring (on the hotel's free van shuttle) and with answering our questions about the area. We will have no problem staying there again when we return to New Orleans again for touring the French Quarter. The only less than positive things that I should mention are that the motel is in what was described as a rough neighborhood and that, though the room was clean, the bathroom wallpaper could use some attention. We had no problems while we were there and the staff was so helpful to us, out-of-towners with many questions. Mike and Phyllis"
