"The hotel was beautiful, old and elegant. Our room was lovely and the 2 bathrooms made it really nice! We were upgraded to the executive level upon arrival and treated to an elevator with a bench seat (the kids loved that!) and a free continental breakfast. The linens and bed coverings were high quality and elegant as well. I would highly recommend this hotel!"

"We live near and both of us work in/around Chicago, and often spend time Downtown just for fun. We had always wanted to try out the Palmer House--a real Chicago legend. We overnighted there this past Sunday, Monday being a holiday, and absolutely loved it! The room was so beautiful; it had a fireplace and sitting area and gorgeous furnishings. We actually took pictures of the room! We'd no sooner arrived when a staff person came to turn down our bed. Delicious evening appetizers and continental breakfast were included. We'll definitely be back! We'd read that the rooms can be small, but we made sure to make reservations for a king-size bed with deluxe accommodations, and it was superb! Our only regret was that Trader Vic's is closed on Sundays."

"I enjoyed my stay. The only disappointing aspect was at the time of my arrival, 3:30 pm, the room was not ready. Luckily though they were able to have to done by 4:30 pm to provide us with time to be reaady for our dinner and show reservations. Overall, happy with my stay. I would stay there again."
