The hotel's location was praised by numerous lodgers, who found it to be close to shopping, restaurants, Michigan Ave., Northwestern Hospital, Northwestern University, architectural landmarks and jazz clubs.
Many reviewers complimented the hotel's staff, finding them to be attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly.
Several guests found the hotel to provide good value, and described the rates as reasonable, inexpensive and affordable.
The hotel's rooms were also praised by several lodgers, who described them as clean, quiet, spacious and well equipped, with comfortable beds and good city views. It should be noted, however, that some guests had complaints about their rooms (see below).
