The GoodThere were no recent reviews available for this hotel since it became a Holiday Inn Express (it was formerly a Doubletree property). However, in the older reviews, guests showed positive responses to the hotel's location and views, which are still relevant.
The hotel's location was praised by lodgers, who described it as close to restaurants, Boise River Trail system, highway access and Boise State University. One guest noted, "Downtown, the zoo, and art museum are less than 10 minutes from [the] hotel". Some patrons had complaints about the hotel's location, however (see below).
Reviewers also enjoyed the views of the Boise foothills, the downtown area and a stream from their rooms.

While the majority of lodgers were pleased with the hotel's proximity to restaurants and Boise State University, a few guests had complaints about the location. They found the hotel to be a little "off the beaten path", and also mentioned it was somewhat confusing to get to.
Guests also mentioned the hotel may be better suited for those with a vehicle, although public transit access is nearby (under a 1-minute walk from the hotel).
