"Although this motel is located some distance from the downtown business district, it's easy to get downtown from the motel. Its main advantage for me was its location near the home of the person I was visiting. The "continental breakfast" could be improved. Offered were: coffee; tea; orange juice; tiny doughnuts (powdered sugar, and chocolate covered---the "Dolly Madison" type that supermarkets sell in small cellophane-wrapped packages); English muffins; and toast. The only condiment for the latter two choices was some nondescript jam without much flavor (possibly cherry???). Both jam and butter were presented in jars, rather than little packets. No tongs were available for helping oneself to doughnuts, English muffins, or bread. The adjacent room where guests could sit at tables to eat the breakfast was dark and not airconditioned. I would suggest more extensive choices for the breakfast--bagels, REAL sweet rolls, boxed cereals (and milk), yogurt, and fresh fruit. Such choices would be more in keeping with those offered in many motels these days. The room was okay. It included a hairdryer, a refrigerator, and a TV. Lighting was not wonderful, however. The bathtub did not look clean (it had big dark "smudges"); the toilet could have used some attention. The cold water from the faucet at the sink was not cold. I would stay here again, and recommend it to others, primarily because I slept VERY WELL here."
