The GoodMost reviewers were very happy with their stay at this hotel.
Many guests were pleased with the hotel's location in relation to downtown Atlanta, Emory University, Turner Field, Emory Hospital and the airport.
Most guests had nothing but praise for the staff from the concierge to housekeeping, saying they were friendly, thoughtful and helpful. However, there were a few issues with cleanliness (see below for more details). Many guests who used the available event space were pleased with the attentiveness of staff and the size of the venue.
Many guests mentioned that they enjoyed the scenery provided by the landscaping on the grounds and the Hahn Woods behind it as well.
The Bad
As noted above, most guests were happy with their stay overall. However, there were some complaints.
A few guests had issues with the upkeep in their rooms. They felt the rooms were not cleaned to their standard. Many of these guests also felt the rooms were in need of an upgrade, saying that the furnishings were often worn or old.
Some guests had complaints about noise, saying they could hear plumbing and televisions running in other rooms. Some guests also had issues with outside noise from passing traffic. One guest recommended asking for a room in the southern-facing part of the hotel.
A few guests had issues with the air in their rooms, saying they smelled musty or moldy. Airing out the room or running the air conditioning fixed the problem for some cases but not all.
Some guests had issues with the beds in their rooms impeding their rest. Complaints ranged from mattresses being too soft to bedding that wasn't appropriate for the season, such as blankets in warmer weather.
