The hotel's breakfast was the source of many compliments by lodgers, who found it to be varied and tasty, with a warm and friendly staff. One guest remarked, "Hot breakfast consisted of scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, pancakes, coffee, tea, hot cocoa, bagels, toast, yogurt, and cereals.
