"Was very thrilled to get up graded to the Disney's Polynesian Resort Club Concierge-think it was the King Kamchamcha Club--at the Hawaii Longhouse-the cast were great and the lounge offerings were very fresh and plenty filling--felt like a queen while staying for the two days. Most wonderful birthday gift I have had in many of my 66 years. This isn't my first time and surely won't be the last for vacationing at the Polynesian--especially over looking Disney's Castle--wonderful area to watch the fire works and boat parade--many thanks to all Charlotte"

"Did not get greeted with a lei as the other customers did. Room was o.k. but we have never stayed at a deluxe hotel that did not have a balcony. Pool area needs some expansion/additional kid friendly activities. The overall ambience did make us feel like we were in the South Pacific. The Ohana restaurant was wonderful, great staff and food!!!!"

"The doors to the outside from the hallways on two different floors were broken and standing open for most of my stay. I have friends that would have left for security reasons. The coffee at the snack shack next to my hotel tasted like water. I threw it out and went to the coffee and pastry hut at the entrance to the monorail station. Only one person was working and after waiting 15 minutes and still having 15 or so people in front of me I went to EPCOT and bought coffee. I waited in line about 1 min. there. The combination of easy transportation, clean and comfortable rooms, beautiful landscaping and relaxing by the pools made my stay very enjoyable, but the little things make a big difference."

"Over the 5 night we stayed at the hotel our room was hardly ever cleaned. The bathroom was untouched except for towel replacement."

"As several valet stood around and talked to each other, I was unable to get thier attention. I unloaded all my bags and had to ask if one of them could valet park my car. Since the room was not ready, which was okay, we had to check our luggage. But we had to drag it outside again. With my grandchildren, this was very inconvienient. After the Character lunch, the front dest just pointed us in the direction of our room. Fortunately, after we went outside again to retrieve our luggage, a very helpful man took us to our room on a golf cart. We would have never found it. A used tray of food set outside our door from the minute we arrived until late in the evening. My husband and son are both in the hospitality business, so I am sure it is helpful to know that I have never had such terrible service. We have yearly passes to Disney and come often, but this was a most unpleasant experience."

"the food at the polynesian is abismal. the bathroom sconces were caked with dust, the mattresses were horribly uncomfortable and the sheets were anything but soft. given that i paid 300 dollars for the night, i was VERY unsatisfied, and we come to Disney often as we live in Tampa Bay. i don't know that i will stay at another Disney "luxury" resorts. "

"THE HOTEL SHOULD MAKE A BETTER EFFORT TO SEE THAT LIGHT BULBS, TV REMOTES ARE WORKING WHEN YOU CHECK IN. IF YOU HAVE A PROBLEM YOU CANNOT DEAL WITH HOUSEKEEPING UNLESS YOU SPEAK FIELD SPANISH. THE DUCKS ARE A NUISANCE WHEN THEY BEG CLOSE TO OR IN YOUR ROOM. THE STAFF IS VERY FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL THOUGH ONCE YOU ESTABLISH A COMMON LANGUAGE."

"The Polynesian is our favorite Disney resort. If you want a true hawaiian ambience on your Disney vacation, you can't go wrong with the Poly! Our room overlooked the Magic Kingdom, which was an added bonus. We could stand on our verandah and look at the Cinderella's Castle, and also the lake. Awesome resort!!!!! Wonderful stay."
Ben from Kingsburg, CA US rated Disney's Polynesian Resort 9 out of 10 on October 23, 2004
"1.) The plumbing failed in the shower necessitating a move to another room. This was a real inconvenience, although the staff was very nice about the move. Perhaps more proactive maintenance could have prevented this situation. 2.) The food in the onsite retaurants was excellent, but very pricey. As a guest I felt that Disney was taking advantage of the convenience of the location in an unecessay way. We were already paying a significant premium to stay inside Disney World on the monorail line."
John from Dublin, NH US rated Disney's Polynesian Resort 8 out of 10 on May 22, 2004
"The lush tropical setting is a magical detail about the Polynesian. We came based on other people's recommendations, and we would recommend it to others in turn. The very large rooms are wonderful, especially if you're sharing with your kids. The location is not to be topped, if getting to the theme parks is central to your stay."
Ulysses from Maplewood, NJ US rated Disney's Polynesian Resort 9 out of 10 on May 02, 2004
"Everything was wonderful! Our only suggestion would be better communication at check in time, we had a major miscommunication about park passes because things were not explained to us properly. Michelle from NJ"
