"When I booked room, I checked some reviews, I was a little bit worried, maybe it would be noisy to stay there. After we really arrived, I was so suprised. It was nice and quiet, no kids running at all. We stayed in a room with 2 double beds, in a far corner and on the top floor. The room was very clean, and the clean ladies made some lovely decoration by towels. I was happy to leave them more tips. My family really enjoy our stay there."

"everything was great and the beds were very comfortable. It was also great that you could hop on a disney bus and go to the parks and downtown disney which was a blast. Enjoy your stay and the pool is fantastic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

"We enjoyed our stay. The staff are very friendly and helpful. My six year old loved the sports theme. The transport to the parks was on time and very convenient. The breakfast adds an additional $20 a day for a family of 3 and the beds are a little small. But, otherwise I would recommend this hotel."

"The hotel was a little dated, but it was in excellent shape. Very clean. It was a little noisy until 2am and since we had to get up at 4:30am to get to the airport, this was a concern. We realize it caters to families but was a little surprised with the noise factor. The shuttle service (Magical Express and Disney on-site shuttles) are magnificant. The service was very good, very acceptable, a little below our expectations based on past stays."

"I had a wonderful stay at the All Star Sports Resort and would do it again if I ever visit Orlando again. The complimentary transportation provided is a definite advantage - both airport transfers and going around to the theme parks and downtown. The only issue I had was with my baggage - it came in over 5 hours after I arrived in Orlando and I was disturbed at 0130 in the morning to receive it despite letting the front desk (in the absence of conceirge) know that I did not wish to be disturbed."
Kathryn from Dubai, AE rated Disney's All-Star Sports Resort 9 out of 10 on August 31, 2006
"Disney's attractions are so expensive that it is nice to have the option of Disney's All Star Resorts, which are much less expensive than many of the other Disney resorts. However, having stayed at the Wilderness Villas, Port Orleans, and the Polynesian Resorts before, I find the All-Star Resorts lacking in ambience. Without the Mickey Mouse soap and shampoo, I could have easily thought I was staying at a Ramada or Days Inn. I was a little disappointed, having experienced the beauty of other Disney Resorts. Having said all that, it is still the most affordable option if you wish to stay on Disney porperty and take advantage of their transportation system and "Extra Magic Hours" at their parks."

"I could stay at a cheap Hotel (Marriott or Super 8) and get 4 times as much serivce and luxury than I did at this RESORT! What a JOKE!!! The room was not comfortable, the lighting too bright, hard wooden chairs. No ICE in ice machines on two of the three floors and we told someone on staff every day, but nothing was ever done about it. The Pool was big, but NOTHING for the little ones to do. They charged us $.75 for every phone call inside the resort. RIP OFF!!!! and to wash clothes $ 2.00 & to dry clothes $ 2.00 and no soap machine to buy detergent. OH MY GOSH!!! WHAT A RIP OFF!!!! HATED MY STAY !!! NEVER WILL GO BACK & I HAVE TOLD EVERYONE I CAN WHAT A JOKE THIS HOTEL IS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

"Hotel lobby posting for Sunday 7/16/2006 showed Magic Kingdom opening @ 0800 and closing @ 11pm. We all woke up early and got to gate 15 minutes before @ 0745 only to find out lobby posting was wrong! We had to sit in the heat with 3 kids (under 3yrs) for an extra hour. Furthermore, the (very nice) Magic Kingdom rep at the gatye said "Oh, they (value hotels) get it wrong all the time.") Our kids got to the gate (1st in line almost) excited and refreshed and entered the gates cranky and whiney."

"Although its "bottom of the line" hotel for Disney, I still expected much better service. The staff was not alway friendly. I would not return to this hotel. On the plus side the resort was nice and well taken care of. Transportation to parks via bus was excellent, as well you could walk to blizzard beach. it took us less then 10 min."

"This is the second time we have stayed at the hotel, and definately the last. We booked a preferred room and got downgraded. We have two small children so the extra walking was a bit tedious. We faced the football field and had to call security because it was still loud at 11pm. Our room had a no smoking placard on the door, but it reeked of cigarette smoke. We called to ask to be moved. The front desk was supposed to send someone to ionize (?) the room. Said we needed to be out for 45 minutes. It was never done. We had a great time on our vacation.....the hotel was the only issue. We will not stay there again."
Kimberly from Riverview, FL US rated Disney's All-Star Sports Resort 3 out of 10 on April 17, 2006
"If your bringing your kids to disney and are going to be spending most of your time in the parks it's all you need. The rooms don't have any extras -- just 2 beds a t.v. and a bathroom but when all you do is sleep there what else do you need? The food court is over priced but very convenient (in the main building). I will use this hotel again in the future. I had no problems at all while I was there."

"This stay was bad from the start. I waited in line for 45 minutes to check in and didn't get within 13 people of the front desk. I left and went to Animal Kingdom. I came back at 5:00 and waited ANOTHER 35 minutes to check in. When I finally got to the check in desk I was told that the type of room I wanted (preferred) was not available and that the difference had been refunded to me. This wasa the first I had heard of this. I insisted on a preferred room and was finally given one. When we walked the 1/4 mile to the room we found that it was still occupied and had to go all of the way back to the front desk to get another one. What we were given was the poorest excuse for a hotel room I have ever seen. The room was extremely small and crowded and was located on the 50 yard line of the football field. This is the football field that had people playing on it until 2:45 in the morning. I know because the walls of this poor excuse for a hotel room were so thin that not only could I hear the playing outside but I could hear every toilet flush in the rooms above, behind and next to mine, along with their showers and TV's. I understand that this is a "value" resort and didn't expect Grand Floridian type of amenities but I have NEVER had to wait over an hour to check in ANYWHERE in the world and I have NEVER stayed in a room that was so poorly designed that I could hear a child burp in the room ABOVE me. I should also have been warned about having a room on the football field nd how loud it could potentially be. All was not totally bad. The "food court" even though it was amazingly and uncomfortably crowded actually had pretty decent food. After this experience I don't believe I will be back."

"The room was clean and that's about it. In fact, the whole place was clean, but that's about it. The amenities were spartan(but clean!!) It's the only way to stay on the Disney property for less than $100.00/night, which allows you a few benefits in security and transportation(around the Disney property). There wasn't even a coffeepot in the room..or hair conditioner...you get that in a Motel 6 for $35/night."

"We arrived for check-in at 3pm and had to wait for 50 minutes in line while only 2 to 3 of the check-in stations were manned. A manager and another staff person stood around in the back and watched. No appologies for the wait what-so-ever! You would think the hotel would know how many people to expect and staff accordingly. I asked for a comment card, and none was available. I paid for the "VIP" room and have NO IDEA what the extra $25 was for. We had a SMALL room with wallpaper pealing off the walls in the bathroom and NO view, in the most least imaginatively dectorated themed building! We had just come from the Buena Vista Suites and I am surprised to say that I would rather stay there than at a Disney owned and run resort!!! VERY VERY DISAPPOINTING!!!"

"I feel that the price I paid I would have gotten more for my money at one of the area hotels. The rooms are clean ,but dark. The pool needs whirlpools and the bottom painted. I ordered a rollaway bed at check in, then later on called room service to get it. They said they don't have them and later that night it shows up. The people are nice, but the hotel needs to be updated. The hotel is not to Disneys standards, compared to everything else"

"The food was too bland for my taste. The pizza tasted like it had sugar added. We were in Building 4. This has the tennis theme. Walking from our room #4111 to the parking lot just before we got to the parking lot was a bad smell. Either swamp gas, septic system or i don't know what. It was disgusting. I know that there are busy times and slow times for the hotel so I wonder if you set up the cafeteria to be more self serve during the busy times. I went to a deli that you had a computer pad to input what it was you wanted. We could even use our card our selves to pay, Then when we got to the line for Eggs or pancakes we could have a reciept for pick up and have that item already paid for before we get to the register. This will also cut down on the time customers are talking to the cooks who are trying to do their work. I think if you chose the items that have the best mark up such as pancakes or waffles and pre-cooked them so the wait was shorter people would go ther first thus increasing your average margin on your products sold Ted Harcovitz"

"It was my fiancee's first time at a disney park, so I wanted to make it special for him and him being a huge sports fan I suprised him with us staying at the "DISNEY ALL STAR SPORTS RESORT", I think we were both suprised! The place was great clean, great looking, fun and great service, we were both just so pleased! For example: we had decided to just check in and stay at the room our first day in Florida, we had gotten settled in and went to relax, and there was no remote for the television, I called down just to see if there were supposed to be one and the woman had someone up right away, and the gentleman brought two just to be prepared! I know this does not sound like much to some but to my fiancee' and I that was a very big deal because we love great service, and treat bad service like a "pet-peeve". So thank you DISNEYWORLD for a wonderful experience and making a couple who will come back again and again!! One more question, I accidentally threw away my green lid to my DISNEY ALL STAR SPORTS RESORT large mug, how can I get another green lid? THANK YOU, WENDY & JASON FROM SHEFFIELD LAKE OHIO"

"I'm sure it would've been better had it not been so cold and rainy the entire time we were there. The room had a few large spider webs in the corner of the rooms above the beds. And an old dirty earring on the night stand when we arrived. We considered just going home, and called the front desk to ask if we could get our money back. They said we'd need to stay the first night, and then could leave the next day if we wanted. That sounded fair. We ended up staying both nights and enjoyed our time together as a family as we brought our own board games, went out to see a movie, and ate out. We were disappointed that there wasn't more to do at the resort. We did spend time at the arcade, which adds up and my son finally did go swimming late in the evening when it finally quit raining. I'm sure the place would've been much better on a warm sunny day."

"The check in process was EXTREMELY slow. It was close to 2:30pm, which I realize is a very busy time, but there were 3 stations vacant, yet there were several staff members crowded over near the Guest Services section, chatting amoungst each other. I would have rather seen all of these stations open. It took us over 45 minutes to check in, which is just about unacceptable."

"The rooms are small but very comfortable. The large heated pool is quite an attraction and fun. Transportation to Walt Disney World was fast and on-time!"

"I understand that personnel turnover is a problem for most companies but checking out was very inefficient. While in line trying to straighten out our credit card problem...I heard not one but three other customers that were having problems checking in or out."

"The rooms could have been a little cleaner. The bathroom needed some attention, and the liquid soap dispenser in one of the rooms was never refilled when it ran out on the first morning."

"One thing that I think that the Disney Resorts are lacking in transportation to their Miniature Golf Courses. They are there, but if you do not have a car they are not accessible. In addition, I think alot would be gained by a bit more adult entertainment, by way of a bar or lounge, at the All Star Resorts, for those who do not want the extravagent evening at Pleasure Island."

"The arrangements were comfortable. However, check out time was at 11:00 AM. At a little after 9:00 AM the maid service came and knocked. I yelled to the door to hang on (I wasn't dressed, please give me a little time. The maid opened the door and walked in on me. I was totally disgusted by that."

"1) we did experience a problem with red ants in our room 2) after I requested in September a connecting room with my family, I was placed very far away from them. 3) the pool staff was very friendly with the children - greatly appreciated."

"The bathroom was a little dirty, the dining hall doesn't have juice as part of the free beverage refill, (Aren't you guys in Florida, like the orange juice capitol of the world), it was noisy after 10:00PM with youth playing basketball outside our room, but the location was good, the bus rides were nice, the pool was beautiful and heated, the design of the buildings and general ambience of the courtyards was inviting, interesting, and unique, and all in all it was a good trip."

"My stay at the Allstar Sports Resort was possibly the most agrivating and frustating experience of my adult life. From the moment I walked in the door to check in, late Saturday night, I faced one issue after another. The decision to choose this low end Resort was a mistake on my part that will not be repeated."

"(1) Though i reserved a room two to three months in advance for 3 rooms, they were not together (2) They couldn't find a room for a disabled guest on the first floor (3) Two of the rooms were in the same last name ----but they were spelled diffferent -- took us 45 minutes to check in (4) I was on the third floor (disabled guest) and the others were on the first floor which turned out to be disastrous as there was partying way into the night which the hotel just let continue ---- kept people up all night (5) Phone didn't work at all for 2 days and then only partially for another day (6) when i attempted to get the phone fixed one of the disney representatives hung up on me (7) One of the electrical outlets in the room didn't work (8) Not friendly to disabled ----- no coffee pot and no microwave (9) NO ROOM SERVICE FOR THE DISABLED ---- ONLY OVERPRICED PIZZA"

"The rooms were to standard. I only expected a little better service. The bus service seems like it could improve more frequently. I would stay there again if I couldn't get room at the Port Orleans."

"Check in process was far too slow. Not the line part, that is only partially controllable, but once I was being attended to, it seemed like we were done 3 or 4 different times only to realize that there was yet another step to go through. I also felt that the food was sub-par quality for what you would expect from a Disney related property and I avoided eating at the hotel as a result. I will also temper my comments with the fact that I was there on business and there is no question the hotel caters to families with small children. It seemed like a great place for kid based activities."
