This hotel is situated among other hotels and is within a 3-minute drive of Interstate 4. Offering a free scheduled shuttle service to Disney World Resort, Orlando Premium Outlets and Lake Buena Vista Factory Outlets, this property is well suited for leisure travellers.

This hotel is 100% smoke free and all 325 rooms include free Wi-Fi, a 37" flat screen TV, a coffeemaker, a hair dryer, a an iron and ironing board, an iPod docking station and individual climate control. Select rooms also include some of the following features: a mini-fridge, a microwave, a balcony and/or a view of Disney World. Rooms are furnished with two queen beds or one king bed and a sofabed. Some of the Disney-view rooms also offer a view of Disney's fireworks.

Free self-parking is available on site and valet parking is available for an additional fee of $10 per day. Pets are not permitted. In addition, there is a $9.99 resort fee per night. This hotel features nine ADA-accessible guest rooms, and service animals are welcome.

This hotel offers multiple on-site dining options. The on-site Trader's Island Grill offers a buffet breakfast and serves dinner. Parakeet Cafe serves deli-style items, while Flamingo Cove Lounge serves drinks and appetizers poolside. Room service is also available.

Other on-site amenities include an outdoor heated pool, a children's pool, a games room, concierge/ticket service and meeting rooms.

The Good
Many guests seemed satisfied with their stays at this property, among the reviews sourced for this editorial, and many reviewers thought that the room rates were reasonable and that the hotel offered good value for the money they spent.

Many reviewers found the location convenient for accessing Disney attractions on foot and several guests said that the free shuttle service was an added convenience.

The staff were frequently complimented for their friendly and accommodating service. However, there were some sales personnel on site that some reviewers complained about (see below).

"the decor in this hotel is very dated and old fashioned... the staff in the restaurant and bar were never there, at one stage we waited at the bar for twenty minutes to get a beer, we got so frustrated that we left and went else where.. the "waitresses" did not seem to know how to serve a meal, they sent starters out at the same time as the main meal so your meal ended up cold before you got to eat it.. it seemed to us that the bar and restaurant were extremly under staffed with unqualified/untrained staff.. other than all this room service and cleaning was good.. and there was a good supply of towels at the pool which was very clean and was open at all times altough no life gaurd was ever on duty... even though iv complained a bit our stay was enjoyable, very close to disney and well serviced by shuttle buses.."

"The Best Western was a beautiful building, clean and restaurant inside was excellent. The problem we had was the matress on the bed was broken down and the pillows were absoulutely so small and felt like broken up foam. We stayed two nights and questioned the clerk at the desk regarding the room, but did not offer to help. We saw a cleaning lady and asked for 2 new pillows that morning, she said not a problem. But when we arrived back at the room late that night, no pillows. We called the front desk and were told houskeeping was closed. Again, no offer to help. The rooms cost for two nights was over $300.00. I would think there shouldn't be a problem with sleeping."

"House keeping was definitely not up to standard. Used shower cap thrown away and not replaced. No bath or shower gel provided. Bath tub could have been cleaner and fittings were shaky. No mini bar. Balcony was full of bird droppings and not cleaned. Impossible to contact staff - when you called the front desk you received a voice mail message. Laundry was not returned to the room - I had to collect it myself from reception. Staff was not well informed - got three different answers to the same question from 3 different staff. No mini bar and bath products are available so be prepared. "

"I could not sleep with people (teenagers) slamming their room doors at all hours of the night (2am). The breakfast was a little over priced as well. On a side note.. This was not a deal breaker but I noticed my bathroom didn't have a fan. Most people like a fan in the bathroom."

"This was my second stay at this Hotel....I was impressed the first time, so made it a point to stay here again...Usually when traveling I prefer to stay at Best Western Motel/Hotels as I know they are clean and professionally staffed..Over all I would rate my experience here as very excellent.. "Upon arriving I was hounded in the lobby by a timeshare salesman representing the hotels parent company, He was trying to get me to go check out a new property the next morning. Air conditioning was not working properly. TV remote control wasnt working and we had to call mainenance for a replacement. Service in hotel restaurant was poor, prices were very high, food was average. I was pleased with the pull-out sofa bed which provided extra sleeping area."

"No refrigerator or microwave oven, restaurant not open late enough, We had to ask for towels by the pool. The rate changed during the week. The bus driver took to long between runs to the attractions and didn't wait for everyone to sit down before driving. I fell and bruised my knee and lower back and my time at disney was painful at times. Service should be one of your highest priorities."

"I thought the view was amazing but the room needs lots of help. The paint was peeling off the ceiling in the bathroom. The carpet was nasty. The furniture was really old and not in good condition. I tried to order a movie and a blue screen popped up every 2 minutes. I called service and she said I would not be charged but when I checked out I was charged for 2 movies. When I explained to them what happened they questioned me over and over. They ended up not charging me but it took to long and too many questions. The location was awesome! I read that they had just renovated the hotel. It looked that way in the lobby but not in my room. The room was not worth the money I paid."

"This hotel is well worth the $79 per night that I paid. It is convienent to the Disney Attractions and the staff is helpful. I was not thrilled that the blankets were worn or the fact they DID NOT change the sheets, only remade the beds for our stay...But you get what you pay for. The bathroom could use some work, cracked tiles and shower water that was either hot OR cold. Overall the good out weighed the bad and it's a good value for the money."

"Hotel was excellent, very clean, friendly, qreat service and quiet. The restaurant offered a great breakfast buffet with great service and very clean. The bus service to Disney was very limited. Had to wait too long for rides. This services needs to be addressed."

"We were very satisfied with the hotel until breakfast. We were given the bill and the waitress insisted on us signing our room number instead of paying cash and she would put it into the computer immediately since we were about to check out. When I checked out, I discovered she had added a $5 tip to the bill. We were in a hurry and decided she needed it more than us, so we left without a complaint. It spoiled a perfect impression of the hotel."

"I thought it was beneath the qaulity resort reputation that a Diseny Resort has to have some one in the lobby trying to sell me time shares in a condo. This is the type activity you get walking through the streets of a lesser resort area like Gatlinburg,TN."
