"Service was excellent--staff was very friendly and helpful. Bus service was quite convenient--I'm certainly glad I didn't have to try to find my way around by myself. I don't think I ever had to wait more than 10 minutes for a bus. Disney's transportation is terrific!"

"The beds were the most comfortable I've slept in in years! I felt the rooms and service were nice, but a little overpriced, although to be fair, we weren't there long enough to take full advantage of the service."
Dawn from Ellington, CT US stayed on January 06, 2006
"Only that prices for drinks were outrageous; $7.00 for a frozen margarita in a small glass. You should consider the pricing issue."
Rob from Little Rock, AR US stayed on October 12, 2005
"How about a mini bar in the room? Not just for beer or wine, but food. The hotel doesn't have a great variety of food options."
Jacqueline from Calgary, AB CA stayed on October 02, 2005
"The hotel and the staff were very good, BUT we booked our room back in June and they didn't have the room we booked available. We either had to take a room with a double bed or a smoking room. We ended up taking the smoking room, which was a risk because of my asthma, but fortunately the wasn't bad. We did find it frustrating that our room wasn't held for us as we booked directly through Disney Vacations."

"Wait times for bus service to and from Downtown Disney, Epcot, and Disneyland were longer than expected (about 20 to 35 minutes). Food service could be simplified and improved with one buffet style restaurant for breakfast or snacks. Current multi-vendor system is cumbersome and inefficient. No food service are midnight available except vending machines. Water shuttle service to Downtown Disney were a little erratic with inadequate information given. Water facet dripping steadily in bathtup. Air conditioning is noisier than it needs to be and makes it harder for me to sleep well (I am a light sleeper)."

"We were very disappionted with the standard of room it was samll, There were 3 of us my wife, son and myself and compaired to other hotels we have stayed in, in the USA it was very small The restaurant was a fast food court not much better than a works restaurant, I thought the staff were just going through the motions and at times were nearing on being rude. Also it was not as clean as I would expect. For the size of complex the pool was adequate. I have stayed in better hotels at less cost, they are charging just for the Disney name. We stayed 7 nights out of a 14 night holiday and to be honest the two hotels we stayed in Fort Lauderdale and then back in Orlando, were far better value for money, rooms twice the size with a seperate lounge area and they had a complmentary breakfast in with the cost. I would not stay in a Disney complex hotel again, we chose this to celebrate our special needs sons 21st birthday, so the Disney experience was doulbly disappionting."

"Beautiful and quiet setting. Right on bus line for the free Disney shuttle to take you anywhere at Disney World. Clean and comfortable bed. Fun place for children. Convenient reasonably priced eatery. Highly recommend. We would go back there."

"It was an ok hotel. The bathrooms were beautiful. I loved the vintage styley they chose and the one in our room was set up nicely. It took a lot of walking to get from one room to another - I was there to visit other family on a Disney vacation. We took the boar ride to downtonw Disney for dinner and that was fun. The restaurants there are somewhat overpriced, but it is in a theme park. I would reccommend the hotel if someone asked me where to stay if they were going on a vacation to Disney World and did not want to drive. I personally would choose something a little farther away with more room for the same amount of money."
Douglas from Bonita Springs, FL US stayed on February 14, 2005
"The hotel in general was nice. My room was not! It was quite dusting in my room, which ended up bothering my girlfriend's allergies a little bit. Two out of the four drinking glasses where so dirty it made us second guess the other two. Apon check-out I told the gentlemen behind the counter about all of this. I wasn't sure how far it would get from his mouth so that is why I'm typing this little letter. Thank you"
Thomas from Lake Worth, FL US stayed on January 17, 2005
"The Disney area is lacking in signs that are big enough and illuminated at night so one can find the various attractions and find one's way back to the hotel. Also it was very difficult to find the signs to the Turnpike. It caused me to go out of my way to finally find the Turnpike south. I'm sure many others have complained about this. Port Orleans is a fine place but, here again, the directions to the resort are not very clear off the highway."
Lisa from Palm Bay, FL US stayed on November 28, 2004
"My son has asthma and the room was dusty upon my arrival. There was dust on the night stand and around the beds on the floor. I had to run out for his medication because of this. I am aware that dust is something we all live with, however, it did not appear that the beds were vacuumed around as I found a brush and hair clips under the bed that did not belong to us."
Thomas from Hobe Sound, FL US stayed on October 18, 2004
"Entertainment in the lounge at night would have been nice."
Arthur from Jackson, MI US stayed on September 12, 2004
"You seemed to be a bit short staffed. There was some waiting in line for food and beverage. Also, the beer keg was empty in the commissary area. I'll give you guys the benifit of the doubt since we were between hurricanes."
Robert from New Paltz, NY US stayed on August 15, 2004
"Our stay spanned Hurricane Charley's arrival and the resort handled it admirably. No loss in power...some closure of food court, but it was opened again after the major part of the storm passed. Disney gave us an extra day on our tickets in lieu of the shortened park hours. Would have liked to have had a fridge in the room. I was surprised there was no high speed internet available. While most people might not need it if they are on vacation, some of us need to stay connected. Would have been expecially nice in view of the hurricane."
Angela from Pearland, TX US stayed on May 24, 2004
"The man that checked us in was absolutely wonderful. He was very accomodating and warm, as were the others that worked at the front desk. The hotel grounds were gorgeous, and the rooms were very pretty. The only drawback was that we didn't get maid service one day and the food in the courtyard is way overpriced. I also work for NASA and I couldn't get an internet connection from my wireless laptop. I really think that there needs to be a business center where people can get access to their email and use a facsimile machine. I also think there needs to be a store that has a bigger variety of food 24 hours. (With some medical supplies llike bandaids cold compresses, over the counter medicine) Thanks!! Overall....The hotel is beautiful, and my daughter loved the pool. (especially the Dragon slide)"
Lynda from Livingston, NJ US stayed on April 08, 2004
"my only complaint..was the cost per night for a small fridge with no freezer....and there is no microwave in the room...that would make it so much easier for people with kids .... that is my only complaint"
