The Bad
Despite the compliments made by some of the guest reviewers, many guests found their stay at Hollywood Beach Hotel Swan to be a negative experience. The majority of complaints were about how dirty the rooms were.
Many guests found the rooms to be very dirty. The reviews spoke about the sheets, the mattresses, the towels and the shower curtains being visibly dirty. There were also many complaints about cockroaches, and other issues with the state of the rooms. The room was also stated to be cleaned rarely.
There were a handful of guests who complained online about faulty electricity. One guest claimed to have been shocked by light switches, while another claimed that the lights would not work. Others said that their TVs, or one of the other supplied appliances, would not work.
Some guest reviewers spoke about how staff failed to bring them towels, toiletries or other amenities.
