I have stayed in nicer hotels, but for a much higher price. We were able to get the room at $45/night for 7 nights, which was a great deal. There was no pool/exercise room and no breakfast coffee/doughnuts in the lobby like other hotels. It was a very plain but clean room. Access was a little inconvient due to interstate work, but that's no fault of the hotel's. Every encounter I had with the staff was wonderful! They were very friendly and helpful with surrounding attractions and directions. Very very nice staff! The rooms didn't come with the little mini samples of shampoo like most do, but for $45/night, I didn't care. Clean, nice, peaceful, and in a decent part of town. The only thing that bothered me was the fact that there appeared to be no night front desk clerk. We left at 2 AM to head back home and the front desk was gated and locked. There was an emergency contact number, but it made me feel a bit uncomfortable. That is the only thing that might prevent me from staying there again.

I was very pleased with the hotel. We drove from Chicago and we arrived at 9:00 am. We were allowed to check in early instead of waiting till 3 pm. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The bed was a little too firm. In all, we were pleased.

All in all, we were happy with our room, the hotel in general and it's location. We initially had some problems with ants in the bathroom, but everything else was fine. The rooms are very clean and functional. The only thing I may have changed is perhaps staying at a hotel with a pool or someplace that is walking distance to attractions for the kids e.g., movies, bowling.... Oh, and the TVs do not have proper connections to hook up playstation or XBOX - we purchased an adaptor from blockbuster.
