It is with great excitement that The St. Regis Aspen Resort is undergoing an extensive interior and exterior renovation through the remainder of 2011 which will represent a new standard of five-star luxury design in Aspen, Colorado once complete. The redesign will characterize the quintessential mountain manor John Jacob Astor would have designed during the Gilded Age. Displaying clever uses of detail such as the lovely contrast of heavy Redstone with light, ornamental steel, and glass, the redesign will emulate the grand rooms of a historic manor during that era.
