"The wine selections served at the evening wine tasting was quite inferior in comparison to the wonderful wine available in the Sonoma Valley region. Mayo and Richardson wines do not begin to compare with the quality of wine available such as Viansa, Ledson, Chateau St. Jean, Landmark, Kenwood, etc. The Renaissance Lodge was a very lovely hotel, so to serve lesser quality wines does not speak well for the hotel. However, Carneros Restaurant was delicious and I was very impressed that they offered to stay open after hours to wait for me and my traveling companions because we were stuck in construction traffic coming from the Oakland airport."
