The hotel's staff were the source of many compliments by reviewers, who found them friendly, professional, efficient, attentive and helpful with directions to attractions. One patron remarked, "But best of all, EVERYONE on staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. Everyone - from the shuttle drivers to the bistro baristas to the front desk folks - was just delightfully warm and welcoming".
Numerous guests found the hotel's location to be convenient. They described it as central and close to the airport, downtown San Jose, shopping, restaurants and Silicon Valley.
