Located about a 5-minute walk from the Powell St. BART Station and a 4-minute drive from the closest Interstate 80 on-ramp, The Mosser Hotel is suitable for pedestrian or car travellers who prefer a well-priced boutique-style hotel with on-site dining and easy access to public transit and the highway.

This hotel has 166 non-smoking rooms and suites, each offering free Wi-Fi, cable TV, a CD player, a ceiling fan, a hair dryer, a bathrobe for each guest and an iron and ironing board. Please note some rooms have a shared bathroom. Rooms with a private bathroom (or two), a separate bedroom, a desk and/or a living room with a sofabed are also available, as are wheelchair-accessible rooms.

Hotel amenities include free coffee, tea and muffins daily from 7 am to 10 am in the lobby, same-day laundry and dry cleaning services, guest laundry facilities and 24-hour reception. 

Valet parking is available for $35 per day, or $45 per day for oversized vehicles. Guests have access to the Marriott Fitness Center & Spa (located across the street) for an additional $15 per day. Annabelle's Bar & Bistro is located on site and serves lunch and dinner daily. Pets are not permitted at this hotel.

The Moscone Convention Center is a 5-minute walk southeast of the hotel, while Westfield San Francisco Centre offers shopping about a 4-minute walk southwest. The Good
The majority of the reviews sourced for this analysis were positive, with praise going to the hotel's value, location, staff and rooms.

Numerous guests were pleased with the hotel's value, describing the rates as great, affordable, budget friendly and reasonable. One patron noted, "I picked it because it was one of the most affordable hotels that I could find in the city and I'm so glad I did".

The hotel's location was praised by many reviewers. They described it as central, and close to public transit, restaurants, shopping, Moscone Convention Center, Westfield Shopping Center and Union Square.

Several lodgers complimented the hotel's staff, characterizing them as accommodating, attentive, friendly and helpful. One guest remarked, "All the hotel staff were friendly and courteous...and they really knew the area so could recommend local restaurants and sights".

The hotel's rooms were also complimented by several reviewers, who described them as clean, well equipped, well designed and elegant, with comfortable beds and strong Wi-Fi signals. It should be noted, however, that a few guests were disappointed with their rooms (see below).

The Bad

"Hotel charges for local calls. Sink facility was crowded into corner of bedroom, which was extremely small. Limited storage for clothes - no separate chest of drawers. No thermostat - heat was through radiator type device. Newspapers were extra charge."
