Rooms with a balcony, kitchenette, a sitting area with sofabed, a separate bedroom, a dining table and a jetted tub are also available, as are wheelchair-accessible rooms.

The Good The majority of the reviews sourced for this analysis were positive, with praise going to the hotel's staff, rooms, breakfast and location.
The hotel's staff were the source of many compliments by reviewers. They were characterized as helpful, efficient, responsive and friendly.
Numerous guests were pleased with their accommodations at the hotel. They found their rooms to be clean, spacious, quiet, updated, well equipped and nicely decorated, with comfortable beds. A few lodgers had complaints about their rooms, however (see below).
The hotel's breakfast was enjoyed by several travellers, who described it as excellent and expansive, with a good selection of hot and cold items, friendly staff and a large eating area. One patron noted, "We enjoyed the complimentary breakfast, which started at 6 most mornings, that included hot pancakes, eggs, meat, biscuits and toasted items. There was also fresh fruit, juice, cereals, yogurt and milk".
Several lodgers were pleased with the hotel's location. They described it as easy to find and close to highway access, the beach, San Diego Zoo Safari Park, restaurants, shopping and a gas station. A few guests were disappointed with the hotel's location, however (see below).

Although the majority of reviewers were pleased with their clean and well-equipped rooms, a few lodgers had complaints about the hotel's accommodations. They reported plumbing issues, weak Wi-Fi signals, noisy air conditioning and noise from guests in adjacent rooms.
While several lodgers enjoyed the hotel's proximity to highway access and Safari Park, a few travellers were disappointed with its location. They found it too far from San Diego's centre and attractions and reported only a few restaurants nearby.
