"The location of this hotel is amazing, right next to the Sante Fe Depot , so close to Ralph's Grocery, the Gas Lamp District, Horton Plaza and every restaurant you would want. The staff is very friendly and will help you with just about anything. The kitchen and common areas are top notch. Big flat screen tv in lounge, kitchen with all new appliances and common huge fridge to keep your food. Sharing washrooms is very cool, there are tons of them - you will never have to wait. The washrooms are all very clean with great showers. The best thing about this hotel is meeting all the cool travelers from around the world. The common areas really promote an interactive experience. I love this hotel and will stay here every time I am in San Diego. I actually preferred staying at this hotel than some chain of hotels. O and the basketball court and workout facilities of the YMCA downstairs are amazing. Love it. Say hello to Terry and Mayumi for me - the nicest guy you will ever meet and the most beautiful girl in San Diego."
