The Cliffs Resort offers elegant oceanfront accommodations on Shell Beach and is perched on a cliff 150 feet above the Pacific Ocean. The resort is one mile from the Central Coast's popular Pismo Beach and 10 miles from historic downtown San Luis Obispo. The hotel offers a free shuttle to/from the San Luis Obispo Airport, which is approximately nine miles away. A 2-million refurbishment was completed in April 2003.
The Cliffs Resort features its very own bluff, over its very own beach. Recreational facilities include an outdoor swimming pool (heated, open year-round), indoor and outdoor whirlpools, sauna, free aqua aerobics, a 24-hour fitness center, massage treatments, and select salon services. The oceanfront SeaCliffs Restaurant, Lounge, and Deck features live entertainment, an award-winning Champagne Sunday brunch, and mid-week happy hour. The resort also offers room service, a business center, conference center, free high-speed Internet access (in lobby, pool terrace, conference center), laundry machines, laundry service, a gift shop, and free valet parking.
Every room and guest suite has a balcony or patio with stunning views of the ocean, mountains, pool, or cliffs. Guestrooms are decorated in soothing earth tones and have modern furnishings. All bathrooms are Italian marble. Guestrooms feature high-speed Internet access, upgraded bath amenities, premium TV channels, coffeemaker, hairdryer, iron, turndown service, and Heavenly Beds® (made famous by Westin Hotels & Resorts).
