"I prearranged (and secured the room with a credit card) so my son, who was meeting me, could check in earlier than me. He was not allowed to check in when he arrived because he did not have a credit card. He subsequently had to kill 4 hours with two small children while he waited for me to arrive. This was completely unacceptable and when I complained to the clerk on duty and the assistant manager, was given no compensation or anything other than an explanation of the policy. Later, we called for sheets as there were none on the fold out sofa. We were told we would have to come get them ourselves as they couldn't bring them up for some reason. Again, we were already dressed for bed and thought this was very poor customer service. The sound for the movie we tried to watch was very poor quality. The volume would not go up to a level so that we could hear. The assistant manager did agree to take off the price of the movie the next day. Finally, I was disappointed in the room itself. It was supposed to be a suite, but was really a room with a half-wall dividing the beds from the sofa. I specifically wanted a suite for privacy as we had several adults and two children in our party. Thanks for listening. The assistant manager did not and I was considering making a call to the corporate office. Please do something about these problems."
