Surrounded by the changing colors of the famous local red rocks, the Mediterranean-style Ridge on Sedona Golf Resort is near the Outlet Mall in the village of Oak Creek. At the Ridge guests can relax after a few laps in the heated pool, or unwind in one of the four hot tubs. Nearby Ridge Spa offers massages and facials. Ridge on Sedona Golf Resort's Activity Program includes movies, books, games, puzzles, events and parties (such as Native American Experience, Teen Game Room Night and bingo) as well as art classes for both adults and children. Classes for ages thirteen and up include; watercolors, intermediate watercolors, silk scarf painting, glass etching, marbleizing, dream catchers and stained glass painting. Classes that are great for all ages are soap making, clay creations, gourd decoration, candle creations, mask making, copper creations, jewelry class and ceremonial crafts.
At an elevation of 4500 feet above sea level, Sedona enjoys four delightfully mild seasons. Tours are available to explore the country by helicopter, hot air balloon, jeep, and on foot. Bell Rock is two miles away, Chapel of the Holy Cross is six miles, Sedona Cultural Park is 14, Indian Nation Tours and Casinos are 20, and the Grand Canyon is approximately 120 miles from the resort.
