Keep your expectations low
"Location was perfect for our visit to NAU. The building is old, parking right outside the door, so it's noisy. Water was hot, room was clean, towels old, ratty, and few. TV worked. It was a place to stay for one night. I didn't expect much, so I wasn't disappointed. The most annoying part was the 26% tax that puts the cost of a room way beyond the advertised rate."

"Couldn't rate question 3 as we were just passing through on our way to the Grand Canyon. This trip was our first time to the USA and Econo Lodge our first stay in a motel. We found the room very comfortable and clean which is very important. One suggestion you may wish to consider - all motel and hotel rooms in Australia and New Zealand provide tea and coffee making facilities which include a small fridge stocked with cold water and milk and sometimes alcoholic beverages. After a long day travelling, there is nothing better than being able to put the kettle on and make a cuppa. Just something for you all to consider. Thanks"
