"The shower head was leaking, therefore, my four family members were stepping in puddles of water so we had to use up towels to dry it up. We called down to report the problem, however, the staff offered for maintenance to fix it. At this point we were already finished and needed to check out. No discount was provided for the inconvenience plus a fire alarm was set off requiring customers to exit in the morning hour. The staff or manager on duty should have the authority to rectify these issues in order to satisfy the customer. Also, a complimentary breakfast could have been offered to us for all these problems or a free stay for the next visit. The hotel wants credit cards as security, however, where is our security when things go wrong like they did??? Not happy with our stay or lack of follow up."

"Not fond of having to use the key-card for room access. My daughter misplaced it but knew who picked it up, and would not return it to he, saying he'd take it to the front desk. I spoke with him and got it back. Upon check-out the next day however, there were $10 in soft drink charges rung up on it by the boy that had it. NOT the hotel's fault, but I wasn't impressed that this could happen.
Otherwise, we had a great stay! The restaurant was elegant, had a great menu & buffet and was reasonably priced. The hotel staff, from the front desk clerk to the room cleaners were very professional & friendly. I'd highly recommend The Ambassador for a relaxing holiday!"

"Washroom had evidence of mould on the tile grout. Wallpaper was peeling and poorly installed in some places. Not a big deal as the room was certainly cleaned, but this hotel is not an economy room so one would expect a little more. We would return."

"I usually stay at the Best Western but was told you had recently renovated. I asked for a single queen bed...I was given two doubles. I also expected a mini fridge. This was inconvenient for me as I was there on business and spent quite a bit of time in my hotel room. I tried to use the gym but my pass would not allow me to enter...this was frustrating. I ordered a pizza from room service and was extremely dissatisfied with the quality. It was the worst pizza I have ever had. I will not be staying at this hotel again. I must say however that the room was very clean. I was in room 377 and very pleased with the individual who cleaned my room. Last of all...my last name is spelled LICARI...I had it corrected at the front desk. Thank you for your query. Joanne M. Licari"
