"We had chosen to stay at the Delta so that we could attend a Gala at the Winnipeg Convention Center which is connected by a skywalk. Nice to be able to move from one building to another without stepping outside. No coats needed! Unfortunately, upon our return to the hotel, via the skywalk, we discovered that the doors to the hotel were locked! We had to go back through the convention center and then outside and across the street to the front doors of the hotel. We were not dressed for it and though it is only fall, it was very chilly and annoying. Again, our reason for staying at the Delta was to have the convenience of the connecting skywalk to the event we were attending. Glad it wasn't any colder. Lori Carlson-Judson"
