Many lodgers praised the hotel's accommodations. They described their rooms as clean, spacious, quiet and well equipped, with comfortable beds and pillows.
The hotel's location was enjoyed by numerous reviewers. They described it as safe, and close to public transit, the airport, restaurants, the University of Lisbon, a grocery store and a taxi stand. It should be noted, however that a few guests had complaints about the location (see below).
Several guests were pleased with the hotel's service, characterizing the staff as friendly, efficient, bilingual and helpful with directions. One lodger remarked, "Reception staff were extremely helpful and friendly, and were keen to help us when we weren't sure how to get to an attraction, even circling extra sites we should see on the map".
