"the welcome was poor we had to argue for what we had booked as they tried to put us in twin rooms the receptionist was snotty and needs tutoring in public relations.We had askd for the rooms together(ie there were 4 couples) we were separated.i telephoned to check two days before and was told all four rooms were on the 3rd floor overlooking the canal they werent and they tried to charge an extra 17.50 euros extra for a canal view.this is a disgusting way to be treated"

"The breakfast was disappointing. As it was not included in my tarrif I did not have it a second time. The food was OK but the queue to make my own tea was badly organised and was a let down to the visit. The staff from reception, cleaning staff, bar & concierge could not have been better."

"The reception was really nice and thought the rooms would be too. That wasn't the case. They were a bit dingy and needed a good lick of paint, although the bathroom was very clean. There was no tea/coffee tray in the room and we had to ask. We asked for an early morning call on our last day to catch a plane and they got the time wrong!! Wouldn't necessarily stay there again, but it was ok."
