Creating a hotel to blend in with this typical Sicilian landscape was quite an undertaking, but thanks to its graceful arches and pergolas, its local stone facings, its handmade terracotta tiles and brick, the building is absorbed into the coastal ambience, adding rather than retracting from the natural environment. The bedrooms contribute to the overall look of the hotel, too. Their decoration mirrors local culture and taste, offering style and comfort combined with airiness and light with their ample sun terraces looking out over the sea. Hotel guests will delight in wandering through the large gardens in the complex, skilfully laid out to create green area and landscaped with abundance of Mediterranean plants to make a splash of vivid colour against the rocks, interlaced with palm trees, bougainvillaea, hibiscus and oleander.
