Machiavelli Palace is a 14th-century ex-convent located within walking distance of the Duomo Cathedral and approximately four miles from Florence Airport. This location is also within walking distance of the train station, River Arno, Dante's House, Cappelle Medicee, Campanile di Giotto, Signoria Place, and Congress Center.
Hotel amenities include the old wood-carved ceilings, Florentine furniture and frescos, lobby bar, room service, and rooftop solarium with views of the Cathedral. The Chiesa di San Jacopo in Campo Corbolini was founded in 1206 and from 1256 on it belonged to the Templar knights. In 1700, a small nunnery was added on one side of the church, exactly where the Hotel Machiavelli Palace is now located.
