The Villa di Piazzano is located just 6 km from Cortona in a beautiful country area which is protected by the environmental authorities. The Villa is not only a great base for exploring both Tuscany and Umbria- but for those wishing to relax- there are plenty of activities at the Villa itself such as: swimming- walking down the many country trails and mountain bike riding /bikes can be rented at the Villa itself. Though the building is very old it was completely renovated in 2001 and the rooms- each different from one another- are very spacious- comfortable and equipped with all the modern comforts.
