"At checkout there was no one at the desk, only a note saying that the manager was in the restaurant, and to go see him. We had seen another couple waiting in that restaurant so that they could check out before we had eaten. When it was time for us to go we ignored the note, dropped the key on the desk and drove off. It seems to me that there ought to be a person manning that desk at the hours of
9-11 on a Sunday morning. Two days previous (9-3-04) we had telephoned Travelodge Limerick from Kenmare to ask for directions. On that afternoon, too, there was no one present to answer the phone.
This is a very utilitarian hotel/motel. It is extremely convenient to Shannon Airport. The sign outside says rooms are available from 49 euros, but the cheapest rate was 60 euros."
