"The hotel was lovely but the fire alarm went off on the first morning we were there, which was the only morning we could have enjoyed a lie on. When I rang reception to see what was going on, the man said that it was the weekly drill....that is a disgrace as firstly, 11.00am is not the time to be doing things like that and secondly, we were not forewarned about it!! On the day of check out, they were a bit to persistant about getting us out of the room. Even the day of the alarm when I had the Do not disturb sign on the door, they rang in the morning to see if we wanted the room cleaned.. It seemed like they were more interested in getting the rooms cleaned than our enjoyment and comfort. Finally, when we ordered room service they would not put it on the room but demended payment at the door! It was a nice hotel apart form these things....!!"
