"I have recommended this hotel to others - especially those with student sons and daughters in the town who want to visit. It is right opposite the best district in Liverpool (the Albert Docks redevelopment). My only gripe was that in Gallic style they have let the hotel car park security slip, with pedestrian entrance electronic gate left open and car barriers inoperative - foolhardy in a City of high unemployment and people who 'find things before you lose them'(as in most cities). On the plus side, the main Merseyside Police HQ is next door! My room 206 at the back of the hotel was clean, comfortable and the king size bed was fit for a..well, a king of course.Food was good value and the staff friendly and very helpful."
